Was it sunny the day before Noah started building the Ark?

Northern Ohio, including Richland, Ashland, Crawford and Knox counties, may be feeling that way once Saturday night and Sunday arrive.

While we enjoy blue skies and temps in the 70s today, the National Weather Service office in Cleveland warns heavy rain and potential flooding are possible in the days ahead.

The way this spring has gone around here, daylight savings time has just meant an extra hour of rain.

Several rounds of heavy rain and potential thunderstorms are expected, late Saturday through Monday. The showers and thunderstorms will continue off and on, possibly heavy at times, as a frontal system stalls in the area.

'The widespread rain of 2 to 4 inches total may be possible over several days, which could develop flooding on area rivers and streams.
