MANSFIELD -- The Richland County Transit Board is offering a temporary on-call service to take residents to vote at the Board of Elections, 1495 W. Longview Ave.

Route 9 (West Fourth Street) and Route 5 (Springmill Street) will both provide on-call access to voting center.

When boarding the bus at the transit center or along the route, let the driver know that you would like to go vote and they will take you there, RCT said.

For the return trip, you must call 419-522-4504. For Route 9, call on the hour. For Route 5, call on the half-hour. The Route 9 bus will run 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Route 5 bus will run 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

These services will be offered Mon through Friday now through the end of early voting on Nov. 2. Regular fares, transfers and bus passes will be accepted for this service.
