BELLVILLE -- The Bellville World's Fair is the latest victim of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Bellville Street Fair/ Agricultural Society has announced the 2020 Bellville Street Fair has been cancelled due to Gov. Mike DeWine's restrictions on county and independent fairs around the state.

The organization posted the news on its Facebook page on Monday. The annual street fair had been scheduled Sept. 16 to 19.

DeWine's orders do allow for junior fairs. The organization announced its junior fair, including livestock, will be conducted at an offsite location with only exhibitors and immediate family.

A location for the junior fair is still being determined.
