MANSFIELD -- Bond was set at $50,000 cash Friday for an 18-year-old Mansfield man charged with aggravated robbery in a shooting/robbery incident earlier this week on Walker Lake Road.

Armon S. Huguely of 374 Wood St. was arraigned in Mansfield Municipal Court.

Huguely had been detained after being apprehended by Mansfield police shortly after the incident on Tuesday, according to Richland County Sheriff's Office Maj. Joe Masi.

He was charged on Thursday.

The investigation continues, according to Masi, who said authorities are searching for additional suspects, all of whom fled after the shooting/robbery at 2456 Walker Lake Road.

The victim, Kayne Perry, 18, was taken to OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

According to a sheriff's department report, deputies found shell casings at the scene, along with a bloody shirt, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Ontario police and the Ohio State Highway Patrol also assisted, Masi said.
