FINDLAY -- State and local authorities are searching for a 42-year-old man suspected of shooting an Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper early Thursday morning in Hancock County.
At 1:38 a.m., Robert Tramaine Hathorn, who is 5-10, 225 pounds, allegedly shot Trooper Josef Brobst during an incident on I-75 in Liberty Township near mile marker 160.
Hathorn has black hair and brown eyes, authorities said.
The state trooper was transported to the hospital and his medical condition was not released. The suspect is still on the run, the patrol said.
The vehicle involved is a black 2016 Chevy Suburban with Michigan plate number C7482198.
