Alpaca Spring Fling & Easter Egg Hunt April 1 2023

On April 1st, we will have our Second Alpaca Spring Fling and Easter Egg Hunt at our Alpaca Farm. There will be all kinds of free projects for kids to make and take with them. Projects include decorating their Easter Egg bag to hunt Easter Eggs with, making Seed Bombs with the Richland Soil and Water Staff,  learning ways to use Essential Oils in kids crafts, making Bird Nesting Balls with alpaca fiber to hang in a tree for birds to come and pull; the fibers to use in their nest building, decorating wooden Easter Ornaments, visiting the Monarch Display and the learning from the Malabar Guild how to use fiber in spinning, needle felting, etc. Kids can hand feed the alpacas, take pictures with Matilda the miniature donkey, take horse/pony rides, and play Easter Games. At 3 pm, there will be an Easter Egg Hun for the kids. We divide the area so the little kids have their area away from the older kids to hun their eggs. The Easter Bunny will be handing out Alpaca Cookies to all that attend. The Farm Store will be open with Alpaca Bunnies and more just in time to fill the Easter Bunny fill those Easter Baskets.

  The Alpaca Farm is located at 3073 Gass Road Lexington Ohio 44904 and the event is FREE from 1pm to 5pm on April 1st. Come out and have a fun afternoon with us on the farm
