MANSFIELD – We ACT, Richland County Sheriff’s Office and the City of Mansfield Safety Service Director’s Office would like to invite the community to the Spread the Light kickoff on Jan. 12 at 4 p.m. at Graham Automall, 1515 W. 4th St., Mansfield.

In addition to blue lights, this year, the organization is adding RED light bulbs to honor Firefighters. The Spread the Light kick-off will feature live music, testimonials and refreshments and free blue and red light bulbs.

“Spread the Light 2020” is a blue/red light week to promote pride in local law enforcement, partnership in all communities of Richland County and peace in area neighborhoods.

Organizers encourage the public to help “Spread the Light” by putting a blue or red light bulb on your porch or business during the week of Jan. 12 to 18, 2020 and beyond to show support for the men and women who put their lives on the line every day to protect and serve the citizens of Richland County.

Free blue and red light bulbs will be available at Graham Automall and blue bulbs at the Richland County Sheriff’s Office on a first-come, first-served basis.
