MANSFIELD — The Renaissance Youth Opera Theatre will present a musical classic on Feb. 1 and 2, 2020 at the Renaissance Theatre, with “Annie Get Your Gun.”

The production is directed by Lori Turner and will feature the MidOhio Youth Jazz Orchestra.

Rough-and-tumble Annie Oakley is the best shot around. A backwoods gal, Annie uses her skill to support her family by selling the game she hunts. When she’s discovered by Buffalo Bill and persuaded to join his Wild West Show, Annie is plucked from obscurity and becomes the toast of Europe.

Annie meets her match in Frank Butler, Buffalo Bill’s leading man, and star marksman. This fictionalized version of the life of real-life sharpshooter Annie Oakley and her romance with Frank Butler boasts a score of Irving Berlin gems including “There’s No Business Like Show Business,” “I Got the Sun in the Mornin’,” “Anything You Can Do,” and a cast of characters that bring the Wild West to life.

Cast members of the two shows include Hope Abel, Isaac Abel, Ian Barnes, Abby Bechstein, Kadelyn Becker, Sage Benchwick, Joshua Browning, Padraig Browning, Ariel Burkey, Talia Byrom, Maria Casto, Grace Day, Chloe Dean, Gillian Donley, Isla Donley, Anna Dudgeon, Tiegan Franta, Amy Gardner, Braylon Gardner, Kendra Geiger, Abby Heininger, Sarah Heininger, Ellison Hicks, Amelia Hodsell, Jamie Howard, Aiden Karger, Kylee Kent, Lily Kime, Olive Kime, Samuel Kime, McKinnley King, Stelianna Kruer, Rachel Madore, Rebecca Matz, Jackie Metz, Austin Michel, Katelynn Miller, Addison Nicol, Jimmy Perry, Kathryn Picklesimer, Ariel Plank, Alyssa Racer, Zakari Ramos, Brenda Rose, Finlay Rowlands, Caroline Secrist, Emma Secrist, Olivia Slaubaugh, Allen Smith, Chase Smith, Whitney Stoots, Alex Trolian, Ariella Waters, Ethanah Waters, Shirah Waters, Halle Williams, Madison Wind, Mya Wind, Makenzie Wynn, Hannah Yoak, Joshua Yoak.
