MANSFIELD -- Mansfield Symphony will present its Harmony in Nature concert on Saturday, Sept. 18 at 8 p.m.
This concert will feature outdoor viewing under the stars, as the indoor performance is projected on0to the Ren Backlot screen.
Outdoor viewing is free and open to the public. For indoor viewing of the visual concert experience, you must reserve tickets.
The Harmony in Nature concert will be a welcome new experience for music lovers as Mansfield Symphony performs Jean Sibelius’ Symphony No. 2. The piece will also be accompanied by masterful projections of beautiful landscapes from around the world.
Also featured in the concert is Jessie Montgomery’s Banner, a rhapsody on the theme of the Star-Spangled Banner.
The Mansfield Symphony’s opening concert is a tribute to our country, the beauty it holds, the struggles we have overcome and those still to be conquered.
“We’re excited to offer a free outdoor performance opportunity this weekend,” said Maddie Penwell, Symphony Director.
“It’s a great chance for our community to enjoy the brilliant sounds of our own Mansfield Symphony under the stars.”
Not only is the outdoor concert free to the public, but the Mansfield Symphony’s Harmony in Nature Concert will also available for at-home streaming from Sept. 21 through Oct. 21. The in-person concert experience is this weekend, September 18 at 8:00 PM at Renaissance Theatre with indoor seats and outdoor viewing in the Renaissance Theatre Backlot.
