13, The Musical is considered “a grown-up story about growing up.” When his parents get divorced and he’s forced to move from New York to a small town in Indiana, Evan Goldman just wants to make friends and survive the school year -- easier said than done.
The star quarterback is threatening to ruin his life and his only friend, Patrice, won’t talk to him. The school freak sees an opportunity for blackmail, and someone is spreading the nastiest rumors. With an unforgettable rock score from Tony Award-winning composer Jason Robert Brown, and book by Dan Elish and Robert Horn, “13” is a hilarious, high-energy musical for all ages about discovering that cool is where you find it, and sometimes where you least expect it.
The cast is led by Nathaniel Ivy and Alex Snodgrass as Evan, as well as Kristin Kaufman and Naomi Schag as Patrice. The role of Brett will be played by Thomas Kurek and Christian Shepherd; with the role of Archie being shared by Zavier Alterio and Allen Smith. The roles of Malcolm, Richie and Eddie will be portrayed by Gavin Hull, Payne Schwartz and Drew Owens, respectively. Kendra will be played by Jamie Mayfield and Ella Schag, with Katlyn Shrewsberry and McKenna Stoffer playing the role of Lucy. The roles of Cassie, Molly and Charlotte will be played by Morgan Bartholomew, Lilly Casey, and Cassandra Kurek, with additional roles being filled by Abby Bechstein, Kadelyn Becker, Padraig Browning, Lysandra Owens, Carter Underwood, Torre Webber, and Emma Williams.
13, The Musical is presented in partnership with Nationwide Children's and with support from Sharon Granter, in memory of her late husband, Don.
