MANSFIELD -- The Mansfield Playhouse has announced upcoming auditions for Disney's "Moana Jr.," which will be the community theater's first youth production in nearly two years due to COVID-19.
Auditions will be Tuesday, June 22, and Wednesday, June 23, at 6 p.m. at the 95 E. Third St. theater.
The show will be performed Sept. 10 to 12 and 17 to 19.
"Moana Jr" is a thrilling and heartwarming coming-of-age story that follows the strong-willed Moana as she sets sail across the Pacific to save her village and discover the truth about her heritage.
Moana and the legendary demigod, Maui, embark on an epic journey of self-discovery and camaraderie as both learn to harness the power that lies within.
