LEXINGTON -- Light Up Lexington will go on, according to Brenda Wilson, the village's clerk of council.
The event will take place on Monday, Nov. 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. on the square.
Participating stores will stay open for customers, while Santa and his Elves will be strolling downtown.
Carolers will be out singing the joys of the season. There will be a nativity scene at State Farm. Lights will be on at dusk.
Residents are encouraged to enjoy family style Christmas this year starting with lighting up your hometown.
