MANSFIELD -- Movies in the Parks and the City of Mansfield Parks and Recreation Department will host a free, family-friendly dive-in movie event on Thursday at Liberty Park from 6 to 11:30 p.m.
Before the movie, residents came enjoy the Liberty Park pool from noon to 6 p.m. for the usual pool fee of $2 for adults, $1 for ages 4-14 and free for ages 3 and under.
The Movies in the Parks event, weather permitting, starts at 6 p.m. with music, games and other fun with "Aquaman" showing on the big screen at dusk.
There will also be a dunk tank where folks can dunk City of Mansfield Parks and Recreation manager, Mark Abrams or City Council President candidate Aurelio V. Diaz.

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Residents should bring your own blankets and chairs. Deja Food will have a food truck and there will also be a small concession area.
