A local cast will present Hurt and Healed ... Chapter 3 on Sunday, June 13 at 5 p.m. at Community Temple, 338 Harker Street.

MANSFIELD – Local playwright, Pastor Elder Tiger Bradley, has produced a new gospel play centered around relationships and the power of faith.

“Hurt and Healed” … Chapter 3, examines the complicated issues many of us face and the process we go through healing from the pain.

The play brings together a dynamic cast of members from Mansfield for an unforgettable performance. The play is written, produced and directed by Elder Tiger Bradley.

"This play was written and directed by a blind Mansfield native," said Joetta McCruter-Polk. "Despite his disability, he is still able to write, direct and produce this play."

“Hurt and Healed” … Chapter 3, will take place on Sunday, June 13 at 5 p.m. at Community Temple Church of God in Christ, located at 338 Harker Street. Admission is free, and free-will donations are accepted. COVID restrictions will be observed.

"The show is about how the past can catch up with you and how to deal with that," McCruter-Polk said. "It's about how healing can take place if people will allow God to be involved in their lives."

Refreshments will be available for purchase before and after the play. The refreshments include chicken and fish dinners with two sides, macaroni and cheese, dressing, greens, potato salad and cornbread.

Doors will open at 3 p.m. for guests to eat and fellowship before the play begins at 5 p.m.
