MANSFIELD -- The Richland School of Academic Arts in Mansfield hosted a special event on Tuesday to celebrate early Ohio history.
The event was a student re-enactment from the time periods of 1761-1813.
"This empowers our students by giving them the opportunity to share Ohio’s heritage as a fun 'living history' event," teacher Angel Vega said. "Students have been researching the every-day life of frontier men and women, their period accurate occupations, and how the lives of these men and women were interconnected inside the life of a frontier fort."
The event was made possible by a grant from the Harry and Lois McCullough Fund through the Richland County Foundation.
