ONTARIO – Two Richland County students were among four people to earn a $2,000 merit scholarship from the Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging.
The group included:
Maria Faber, of Seneca County, is majoring in Pharmacy at The University of Findlay: College of Pharmacy.
Natalie Tasseff, of Richland County, is majoring in Pharmacy at Ohio Northern University: Raabe College of Pharmacy.
Olivia Arnold, of Richland County, is majoring in Nursing at Kent State University.
Katherine Fowler, of Knox County, is majoring in Speech Therapy at Baldwin Wallace University.
The Area Agency on Aging extends its congratulations to each of the winners.
Each year the Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging Board of Trustees provides grants to individuals who intend to enroll in an institution of higher education or in local classes to reach their education goals in a field promoting the aging network.
The Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging, Inc., located at 2131 Park Avenue West in Ontario, provides leadership, collaboration, coordination and services to older adults, people with disabilities, their caregivers, and resource networks that support individual choice, independence and dignity.
