Angela Fetter

MANSFIELD – Angela Fetter was has been selected Special Education Consultant for Alternative Schools during the Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center (MOESC) Board of Governors meeting July 24.

Fetter has been serving in Student Services for Marion City Schools for the last seven years. She started as an Intervention Specialist where she was named PTA Area 8 Educator of the Year in 2015 and also received a commendation from State Support Team 7 in 2014. She then moved on to serve as Assistant Principal and finished her time in Marion as the Student Services Coordinator.

Fetter earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from the Ohio State University, majoring as an Intervention Specialist for moderate/intensive needs children, and a Masters in Education specializing in Applied Behavioral Analysis from the University of Cincinnati.

“To be able to join such a renowned and dedicated team, one that speaks and replicates my own passion for serving others, is nothing short of amazing,” Fetter said. “I am incredibly excited to be a part of this community.”

Interim Superintendent Ed Swartz expressed his own excitement.

“Angela is bringing a lot of enthusiasm for helping kids with intensive needs. We know she will do a fantastic job helping our staff provide a top rate education for our students.”

Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center provides specialized academic and support services to 15 school districts and over 22,000 students in Crawford, Morrow and Richland Counties. Client Districts receive services from curriculum, gifted and special education consultants, speech pathologists, psychologists, special education teachers, occupational therapists and physical therapists.
