MADISON TOWNSHIP — The Madison Choral Department will present Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr. at the middle school on Nov. 8, 9 and 10.

Disney’s Little Mermaid Jr. tells the story of Ariel, a beautiful young mermaid, who is willing to give up her life in the sea as a mermaid to gain a human soul.

In order to do this she will have to defy her father, King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, and convince the handsome Prince Eric that she’s the girl whose enchanting voice he’s been seeking.

The production is under the direction of Craig Green, director of choirs at Madison Comprehensive High School. This year’s cast was chosen from auditioned students in grades 5 to 12. The following is a list of the lead roles in Little Mermaid Jr.:

Little Mermaid—Ariel Burley

King Triton—Anthony Lane

Ursula—Delaney Wilson

Eric—Nathan Willis

Sebastian—Emalie Green

Tickets will be available at the door prior to each performance or in advance in the high school cashier’s office during regular school hours.

Friday, Nov. 8 at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 9 at 7:30 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 10 at 2:30 p.m.

Tickets are adults: $8, students: $6. Kindergarten-College w/ID and seniors: $6 (60+).

Performances will be held at Madison Middle School-1419 Grace Street. General Seating will begin 30 minutes prior to each performance.
