OLIVESBURG – The Crestview Local School District Board of Education accepted the resignation of Treasurer, Beth Lykins, effective Dec. 31, at its meeting on Monday, Nov. 16.

The district, with the assistance of Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center, is now seeking qualified applicants with a strong financial background for the position of Interim Treasurer.

A full-time replacement will be sought in the spring of 2021. It is anticipated that the Interim Treasurer would start on or about Jan. 1, 2021 and stay through the transition of a full-time Treasurer.

Qualified applicants should have a strong sense of integrity, be self-directed, possess strong financial analysis skills, be detail-oriented and a strong communicator. The Board of Education will offer a salary that is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center provides specialized academic and support services to 10 school districts and over 17,000 students in Crawford, Morrow and Richland Counties. Client districts receive services from curriculum, gifted and special education consultants, speech pathologists, psychologists, special education teachers, occupational therapists and physical therapists.
