BUCYRUS -- A woman who needed rescued from a dumpster in Bucyrus early Monday morning was arrested on a Crawford County warrant after police were called to the scene.

According to a Bucyrus Police report, authorities were called to the rear of Dollar General, 933 Hopley Ave. at approximately 12:27 a.m. on Monday.

Officers said a woman had gotten into the dumpster and could not get out. The Bucyrus Fire Department and EMS responded and she was rescued with a ladder. Dawn Bader, 48, was arrested on a warrant out of Crawford County. She was issued a court date for May 15 and released.

10:48 a.m. Motorists were verbally warned regarding going around the downed crossing gates on Whetstone St.

11:10 a.m. An employee of Ehrhart’s reported a theft from the business.

11:11 a.m. Officers assisted Crawford County Job and Family Services in the 1700 block of Marion Rd. and a welfare check was made.

12:50 p.m. Officers assisted with a vehicle lock out in the 1300 block of Lynne Av.

2:48 p.m. A private property accident was investigated in the 100 block of Hill St.

3:24 p.m. A junk vehicle notice was served in the 300 block of Wallace Av.

3:30 p.m. A verbal traffic warning was issued in the 500 block of S. Walnut St.

3:35 p.m. Officers assisted with a vehicle lock out in the 900 block of W. Perry St.

3:54 p.m. Officers removed debris from the roadway in the area of Marion and Southern Av.

4:57 p.m. A private property accident was investigated in the 5k00 block of S. Sandusky Av.

5:52 p.m. A report of a person dumping trash on private property was investigated in the 1800 block of E. Mansfield St.

6:53 p.m. Officers delivered a message for Riverside Police Department to a local vehicle owner about their vehicle being in a hit-skip crash.

7:34 p.m. An assault report was taken at Harmon Park.

8:22 p.m. A report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Kaler Av. was investigated.

8:24 p.m. A traffic complaint was made in the 100 block of S. Sandusky Av.

8:38 p.m. Officers assisted a person experiencing mental problems.

8:56 p.m. A report of a possible burglary in progress in the 100 block of Wiley St. was investigated and the building was found secure.

9:59 p.m. A verbal traffic warning was given in the 700 block of N. Sandusky Ave.

10:14 p.m. Officers assisted EMS in the 200 block of Dudley St.

10:45 p.m. A report of a barking dog in the 800 block of Prospect St. was investigated.

11:22 p.m. A report of disorderly juveniles in Walmart was investigated. A male attempting to purchase alcohol was causing a disturbance and they were made to vacate the store.

Saturday, May 11

12:03 a.m. A verbal traffic warning was given in the area of S. Sandusky Ave. and Charles St.

1:07 a.m. A traffic stop was made in the 900 block of N. Sandusky Ave. Nathan Queener, 26, was arrested for possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia. He was issued a minor misdemeanor citation and released with a court date.

2:07 a.m. Officers assisted a Crawford County Deputy in the area of Hopley Ave. and Rogers St.

3:35 a.m. A report of an intoxicated male walking in the 1600 block of E. Southern Ave. was unfounded.

3:58 a.m. Officers assisted a resident with an unwanted male in the E. Southern Ave. area.

4:33 a.m. Officers assisted with a vehicle lock out at Bucyrus Precision Tech.

5:22 a.m. Officers responded to an alarm in the Home Circle Dr. area. It was a false alarm.

5:57 a.m. Officers responded to an alarm in the Red Oak Court area. It was a false alarm.

9:09 a.m. Officers picked up a baggie of medication that was found in the 500 block of Rogers St.

9:37 a.m. Officers were dispatched to a vehicle lockout in the 1000 block of Tiffin St.

10:01 a.m. A report of stolen logs in the 800 block of Hopley Ave. was taken.

10:34 a.m. Officers assisted with a vehicle lockout in the Bucyrus Plaza area.

11:25 a.m. Officers assisted with a vehicle lockout at Kroger.

11:51 a.m. Officers investigated a report of a possible trespass violation in the 400 block of Charlotte St.

12 p.m. A report of a suspicious vehicle in the 1700 block of Whetstone St. was investigated.

12:22 p.m. A parking complaint was reported on Washington Square. The vehicle was gone prior to officer’s arrival.

12:38 p.m. A motorist was issued a citation for driving under suspension Mansfield and Walnut Streets.

1:44 p.m. Officers assisted with a vehicle lockout in the 1000 block of E. Mansfield St.

2 p.m. A report of a sewer cap dislodged in the 900 block of Marion Rd. was investigated.

2:07 p.m. A report of a disturbance in the 200 block of Harper Ave. was investigated.

2:40 p.m. A private property accident was investigated at Walmart.

2:41 p.m. Officers checked the welfare of a woman on Ridge Ave. and a message was delivered.

3:27 p.m. A report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Cherry Lane was investigated.

3:59 p.m. A report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Spring and Oakwood Avenue was investigated.

4:22 p.m. A domestic disturbance in the 500 block of E. Rensselaer Street was investigated.

4:56 p.m. A two vehicle accident in the 900 block of Hull Avenue was investigated.

5:02 p.m. Officers checked the welfare of a resident in the 800 block of Earl Street. An individual was transported to Bucyrus Hospital for assistance.

5:45 p.m. Officers responded to a suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of S. East Street with two occupants who appeared unconscious. Zachary Newmeyer,25, was arrested on charges of Disorderly Conduct and Possession of Marijuana. Aaron Mitchell,20, was arrested on a charge of OVI and a probation violation. They were both issued their paperwork and transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held.

5:52 p.m. A 16-year-old Bucyrus boy was arrested on a charge of Domestic Violence. He was released to a parent pending charges through juvenile court.

6:03 p.m. A resident in the 100 block of Hall Street reported damage to two trailers parked on his property.

7:31 p.m. A report of suspicious people walking between houses in the area of Hopley and Aurora Street was investigated.

7:58 p.m. A report of people going into an abandoned house on Charlotte Street was investigated.

8:33 p.m. An officer responded to the Bucyrus Community Hospital about a dog bite victim.

9:01 p.m. A Bucyrus resident reported being bitten by a dog while in the area of Wallace Avenue.

9:12 p.m. Officers checked the welfare of a subject walking on Marion Road.

9:45 p.m. A report of an unwanted male at a residence in the Waterford Glen area was investigated. The man was intoxicated and was given a ride out of the area by an acquaintance.

9:54 p.m. Officers spoke to a female on station regarding custody issue.

10:07 p.m. Officers responded to an alarm in the 800 block of Sherman St. It was a false alarm.

10:17 p.m. A report of a possibly disabled train in the Hopley Ave. area was investigated. The train only stopped momentarily and it resumed travelling.

10:58 p.m. A report of loud music in the Kaler Ave. area was investigated.

Sunday, May 12

5:07 a.m. A report of suspicious people in the 500 block of Park Ave. was investigated.

6:32 a.m. Officers assisted EMS in the 300 block of Iron St.

6:37 a.m. Officers responded to an alarm in the 1100 block of Woodlawn Ave. It was a false alarm.

6:44 a.m. A report of a suspicious male in the area of S. Spring St. and W. Warren St. was investigated.

7:34 a.m. Officers assisted with a vehicle lockout in the 1500 block of N. Sandusky Ave.

8:27 a.m. Officers spoke to a couple having a verbal argument in the 900 block of Hopley Ave.

10:25 a.m. A report of two small children unattended in the 500 block of Whetstone St. was investigated.

12:48 p.m. Officers located owners of a dog that was running loose in the 500 block of S. Poplar St.

12:56 p.m. A disturbance at Aumiller Park was investigated.

12:58 p.m. A verbal domestic in the 100 block of Emerson St. was investigated.

3:10 p.m. A parking complaint in the 1000 block of High Street was investigated.

5:28 p.m. A report of an open building on Hopley Avenue was investigated.

5:57 p.m. Officers assisted a motorist locked out of his vehicle on Waterford Glen.

6:40 p.m. A domestic disturbance in the 1600 block of Marion Road was investigated. A couple was having a loud verbal dispute while walking, arguing about how their vehicle ran out of gas and who was going to walk to get fuel.

7:37 p.m. Officers assisted a motorist locked out of her vehicle in the 1600 block of Marion Road.

9:51 p.m. Officers responded to an alarm in the 100 block of W. Perry St. It was a false alarm.

9:55 p.m. Officers responded to an alarm in the 700 block of E. Southern Ave. It was a false alarm.

10:09 p.m. A report of a suspicious vehicle at Oakwood Cemetery was investigated.

11:54 p.m. Officer responded to a noise complaint in the 500 block of S. Spring where a resident was mowing. The resident was warned and will mow in daytime.

Monday, May 13

12:02 a.m. Officers responded to an alarm in the 100 block of W. Perry St. it was a false alarm.

12:55 a.m. Officers responded to an alarm in the 100 block of W. Perry St. It was a false alarm.

3:44 a.m. A Monnett St. resident reported someone knocking on the windows of her home. Officers checked around the residence and did not locate anyone.

5:13 a.m. Officers responded to a vehicle lock out at Circle K.
