BUCYRUS -- Bucyrus police are investigating a shooting incident late Wednesday night that resulted in two girls being treated for gunshot wounds.
According to Capt. J.D. Greathouse, officers were dispatched to 1301 Monnet St. to a disturbance call at 10:58 p.m.
Officers found a juvenile female suffering from a gunshot wound, Greathouse said. The girl was taken by ambulance to Bucyrus Avita Hospital by and later flown to a hospital in Columbus.
Greathouse said a second juvenile female victim walked into Bucyrus Avita Hospital Emergency room, also suffering from a gunshot wound. She was treated and released.
Greathouse said the incident is still under investigation and further details will be released once available.
