GALION -- The Ohio Department of Transportation has issued its District 3 construction report for the week of Oct. 28.
Ohio 4 in the City of Bucyrus, from Perry Street to Quaker Roa., will have single lane closures for a resurfacing project. Access to businesses will be maintained at all times. Side streets will have one lane closures as needed for intersection realignment and catch basin relocation. There is a “No Parking” restriction on Ohio 4 from Plymouth Street to Melcher Boulevard throughout the project. Two-way traffic will be maintained at all times in the four-lane section from Perry Street to U.S. 30. In the two-lane sections, traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The project is expected to be complete May 2020.
Ohio 4, from Ohio 19/100 intersection to the Crawford/Seneca County line, will have single lane closures for a resurfacing project. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained in each direction with periodic flagging operations as needed. The project is expected to be complete October 2019.
U.S. Route 30
U.S. 30, between Lower Leesville Road and Old Lincoln Highway have the right lanes eastbound and westbound closed to traffic for a resurfacing project. Crews are paving Ohio 98 from the Ohio 98/U.S. 30 interchange to Beechgrove Road. Traffic on Ohio 98 will be maintained by flaggers. Work zone speed limits are in effect. The speed limit when workers are present is 55 mph, and 65 mph when workers are not present. The entire project is expected to be complete this month.
