BUCYRUS -- One man was arrested and guns and suspected drugs were seized Wednesday afternoon by law enforcement authorities in the 200 block of East Oakwood Avenue.

At 3:30 p.m., the Crawford County Special Response team, consisting of Bucyrus, Galion and Crestline police officers and county sheriff's deputies, executed a search warrant.

All of the agencies are members of the multi-county METRICH Drug Task Force. Officers were assisted at the scene by members of the Bucyrus and Galion fire departments.

The search team went to one of three apartments in the converted store and residential building and recovered two guns, suspected methamphetamine, ammunition, a machete, and drug paraphernalia.

James Williams will be charged with having weapons under disability, according to Bucyrus police.
