GALION – The Galion High School hosted its annual National Honor Society (NHS) Induction Ceremony Tuesday, Nov. 13.
Dozens of family members, friends, Galion staff members and community members attended the celebration of excellence in the High School cafetorium.
The new members of the Galion National Honor Society inducted during the evening’s event included: Eleanor Chandler, Anna Court, Markis Lawson, Alison Longwell, Gillian Miller, Ceyanna Mohr, Makenna Mohr, Kiana Moulton, Kerrigan Myers, Karsey Peters, Paige Reagan, Austin Rinehart, Julia Roderick, Kacie Runyon, Kate Schieber, Anissa Smith-Sublett, and Caleb Strack.
“This is a tremendous honor for these students because they were selected for induction by the teachers,” high school principal Ron Williams said. “They have worked very hard for this recognition, and I would like to congratulate them and their families on this tremendous accomplishment.”
The Galion City School District Food Service department provided catering services for the evening’s festivities. Local businesses and the Galion Boosters provided food, beverage and monetary donations to assist with the event.
