BUCYRUS -- More than two pounds of suspected methamphetamine and other drugs were seized this week during a raid at 341 Hopley Ave., according to Bucyrus police.
The raid was the result of an ongoing drug investigation by the Bucyrus Police Department, a member of the METRICH Drug Task Force.
On Tuesday, police, assisted by a Crawford County Sheriff's Department K-9 unit, made a traffic stop on Hopley Avenue near Southern Avenue.
During a vehicle search, officers found methamphetamine, cocaine, THC oils and approximately one pound of marijuana.
Officers then executed a search warrant at the Hopley Avenue residence, seizing more than 2.2 pounds of methamphetamine, a large amount of cocaine, large amount of prescription drugs, THC oils, several pounds of marijuana and other drug-related items.
Two people were taken into custody and the case is being reviewed for charges by the Crawford County Prosecutor's Office.

On 7/16/2019 the Bucyrus Police Department, a member of the Metrich Drug Task Force, conducted a search warrant at 341 Hopley Ave. The execution of the search warrant was the result of an ongoing drug investigation by the Bucyrus Police Department. On 7/16/2019, as part of the investigation, a traffic stop was conducted on two individuals on Hopley Ave in the area of Southern Ave. Assistance was given at the scene by the Crawford County Sheriff's Department K-9 Unit. During a search of the vehicle and occupants, the following items of suspected narcotics were located: Methamphetamine, Cocaine, THC oils and approximately 1 pound of Marijuana. Officers from the Bucyrus Police Department then executed the search warrant at 341 Hopley Ave. Over a kilogram (2.2 pounds) of suspected Methamphetamine, a large amount of Cocaine, a large amount of prescription drugs, THC oils, several pounds of Marijuana and other drug related items were seized from the residence. Two individuals are in custody and are awaiting formal charges from the Crawford County Prosecutor's Office.
