Seeking Quality Assurance Technicians. QA Technicians are responsible for charging the furnace in the foundry and controlling the chemistry of the iron. Testing that you will conduct includes but is not limited to: Spectrometer, Sant Testing, such as LOI, Moisture, Clay Content, and Compaction.

*You are a key resource to ensure the success of the supervisor and production team!*

What will you do as a Quality Assurance Technician at this company…

  • Run control room and assist on the melt deck to assure safety, quality and productivity goals are met

  • Monitor all quality per shift

  • Perform safety audits, identify hazards and suggest improvements

  • Familiar with the execution of 5S standards in the control room and lab

  • Perform basic root cause and countermeasure activities

  • Starting pay: $14.50 - $20.00/hr (paid bi-weekly)

  • Looking to fill 3rd shift (9:00pm – 5:30am; 7:00am if running OT)

What is required to apply to become a Quality Technician…

  • High school diploma / GED; 2-year technical degree preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years of quality and troubleshooting experience

  • High degree of mechanical and analytical ability

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel applications

  • Be versatile, able to work in a dynamic and ever-changing environment with a can-do attitude

  • Able to work independently and be detail oriented
