POSITION:

Industrial Electricity Instructor

REPORTS TO:

Career Tech Supervisor

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma
  • 5 years recent employment in the Industrial, Electrical and or Maintenance field
  • Preference given to those with a minimum of an Associate degree
  • Ability to earn or currently hold a Ohio Career-Tech teaching certificate/license
  • Possess or be willing to earn a valid CDL with School Bus Endorsement
  • Successful BCI/FBI screening

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate should possess, at minimum, the following:

  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in the Industrial Maintenance field; including but not limited to: PLC’s, Schematic print design and interpretation, Industrial Motor Controls, Basic Industrial Electrical Wiring, Understanding of Pneumatic tools, Conveyor Systems, Production Machines, Operation Manuals and Manufacturer’s Instructions and Engineering specifications with troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of Career Technical Education
  • Interest in working with students at varying educational levels
  • Organizational, communication and time management skills
  • Technology skills including email

WORK YEAR:

2019-2020 school year (185 days)

SALARY:

Commensurate with certification/licensure and experience

BENEFITS:

In accordance with Pioneer’s Master Agreement

August 2019
