LOUDONVILLE — Celebrate St. Patrick's Day in style by joining the Cleo Redd Fisher Museum in sampling the craft brewing scene of Mid-Ohio.
This popular tour includes stops at Millersburg Brewing Company, JAFB (Wooster), Uniontown Brewing Company (Ashland), and Phoenix Brewing Company (Mansfield) with round-trip transportation provided from the museum in Loudonville.
The annual event supports local history, with all proceeds going toward the Mohican Historical Society and CRF Museum.
“We always have a great time, and usually sell out quick,” noted Kenny Libben, curator of the museum, “this is a great opportunity to explore some of the breweries in the area, all in one day, without worrying about finding a designated driver.”
The trip is set for Saturday, March 14 and will leave Loudonville at 11 a.m. before heading to Millersburg first, followed by JAFB in Wooster, Uniontown in Ashland, and finally Phoenix in Mansfield, before returning to Loudonville around 5:30 p.m.
In past years breweries have offered tours of the facility to guests (depending on how busy staff is), and Millersburg, JAFB and Uniontown have all confirmed that food will be available for purchase.
Each stop will last approximately one hour, allowing guests ample time to sample a flight or more, before moving on to the next brewery.
Tickets are available for purchase online at the museum’s website, https://www.crfmuseum.com/events/brewerytrip2020/. The cost to join is $40 per person, however the museum is currently offering a $5 discount when guests use the code “SHAMROCK” at checkout.
Seating is limited and often sells out quickly, so guests are encouraged to book soon. Guests are responsible for purchasing their own food and beverages, and must drink responsibly.
