MANSFIELD -- The Holden Agency has announced the addition of Peter Kenyon to its growing team of real estate agents.
Born and raised in Birmingham, Michigan, Kenyon has been a resident of Mansfield for the past 13 years. He attended prep school and college in Maine and New Jersey, where he focused his studies in the fields of Communications and Corporate Relations.
Following college, Peter returned to the Midwest to pursue his professional career. He was employed by Whole Foods Corporation in Michigan where was part of the team tasked with developing the Customer Experience Culture. He then relocated to Ohio where he joined Jay Plastics (Nanogate North America).
At Nanogate, Kenyon has held the roles of Customer Service Representative, Environmental Manager, and Sales and Marketing Manager, the latter of which helped lead him to finding his passion for real estate.
“During my career, I’ve negotiated and closed several contacts with Fortune 500 companies," Kenyon said. "This was something I fell in love with, but I wanted to do it on a more personal level.
“My career in real estate will allow me to put my talents to work for members of our community, helping them to achieve their real estate goals efficiently.”
Kenyon’s decision to join The Holden Agency was driven by the company culture, and the quality of resources they make available to their agents and clients.
“I did a lot of research on different brokerages in our area, and I was really impressed by the unique model that The Holden Agency uses,” he stated. “Once I had a chance to get to know Jerry (Holden), the decision to join his team was easy. I’m ecstatic to be a part of The Holden Agency family and to begin this new chapter.”
Jerry Holden, owner of The Holden Agency, expressed his confidence in Kenyon’s qualities, and how those characteristics will help their customers be successful.
“I’m really excited to have Peter join our company," Holden said. "His negotiating and management skills, as well as his leadership qualities, will allow him to hit the ground running and build a very successful real estate career.”
Kenyon resides in Mansfield with his wife, Natalie, sons Paxton and Oliver, and dog Ivy. He enjoys golfing, woodworking, skiing, and watching his sons participate in youth sports.
