THA Mortgage

MANSFIELD -- THA Mortgage is excited to announce the addition of Mortgage Loan Officer Thomas Blunk to its growing team.

A resident of Mansfield for 36 years, Blunk graduated from Mansfield St. Peter’s prior to earning his degree in Business Administration from The Ohio State University. He has spent over 30 years serving as a CFO/Financial leader for a variety of organizations.

Blunk finds enjoyment in helping people and establishing relationships that are made during the process of obtaining financing.

“I enjoy walking customers through the home purchase and refinance processes. Obtaining financing can become confusing at times. I try to make things as simple as possible for our customers.”

Of the factors that drive Thomas, providing clarity and honesty to customers are key so that they can make the best decisions.

“I believe you must be honest and straight-forward. I always want to explain the good and the bad to customers so they can make an informed decision for themselves.”

Finding a trusted partner that borrowers can depend upon isn’t always easy, according to Thomas.

“Customers shouldn’t have to deal with hidden fees or terms,” he stated. “I’ve seen many people lose their home and credit due to predatory lending. I don’t believe that there is a place for those types of people in our industry. I want THA Mortgage customers to know that they will get honest, straight-forward answers to the questions they have.”

Jerry Holden, CEO of THA Brands, knows that Thomas’ career experience will be greatly beneficial to the company.

“Tom will be a huge asset for us as we continue to grow. His 20 years of experience as a CFO and helping large companies move in the right direction will be valuable to our business and our customers. He is extremely detailed with numbers and has great understanding of helping customers navigate this complex industry.”

In his spare time, Blunk enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, playing golf and basketball, mowing lawns, hiking, and the outdoors. He can be reached by phone at 419-631-9927, or by email at
