The Renaissance Theatre offers meaningful and inclusive performing arts experiences throughout the year. Located at 138 Park Ave. W., the Ren has been a staple in the Mansfield community for 91 years.
“The Renaissance Theatre is North Central Ohio's premier venue for the performing arts,” said Director of Marketing and Communications, Holly Williams. “Each year a myriad of events are offered such as Broadway musicals, live concerts, comedy shows, and more! We give the gift of experiences, which in turn become priceless memories that last a lifetime.”
The Renaissance Theatre not only provides entertainment, but comfort and hospitality to all to visit. It is important to staff to make all of their customers and audience members comfortable and content.
“The Renaissance offers Angel tickets to people and/or groups in need. We have sensory-friendly productions throughout the season which are free to people and their families with sensory issues,” said Williams.
Not only that, but they help out local teachers, as well.
“The Kennedy Center Partners in Education, generously supported by the Ohio Arts Council, Charles P. Hahn, CFP and the Key Bank Foundation, are free educational workshops for teachers and also include professional development credits,” said Williams.
The theatre also receives ongoing support from members and individuals in the community. “Our community cares,” Williams said. “They care about each other. They care about businesses. They are supportive and proud of what our community was in the past, in the present, and what it will become in the future.”
Small Business Saturday is coming up, and the theatre will be offering special deals. All tickets and gift certificates will be 20 percent off during the hours of 12 and 5 p.m. on Nov. 30.
“The Renaissance proudly offers our community professional yet low-cost arts entertainment,” said Williams.
