In addition to providing a fully furnished, fully licensed co-working office, podcast studio and kitchen for entrepreneurs in the area, Idea+Works hosts events and programs to help businesses reach their audience and grow. Many events, community discussions, meetups and concerts are also free and open to the public.
"Idea+Works has helped us to double our business since joining," said Tracy Graziani, CEO, Graziani Multimedia.
Entrepreneurs’ Kitchen partners with other local organizations to improve and promote economic stability, community growth, and access to wholesome, healthy food.
To further help food startups and increase focus on a healthy local food system, the Entrepreneurs’ Kitchen will move to a new location in a historic building in downtown Mansfield in 2020.
Funds received from Richland Gives will be used to equip and build two new shared-use commercial kitchen areas including a dedicated gluten-free kitchen, a teaching kitchen, marketplace and pop-up restaurant.
In addition, as a result of Idea+Works’ donation and partnership with The Ohio State University at Mansfield’s Microfarm Project, funding will enable the newly organized grower cooperative, Richland Gro-Op, an aggregation space for their business to grow for three years at no cost."
“Being located in historic Downtown Mansfield, Idea+Works and its members actively work to buy, sell and outsource locally, to enhance the local economy,” said Idea+Works President Jay Allred.
This year, Idea+Works is raising funds through Richland Gives to be able to continue providing free, affordable programs, office space, kitchen space, access to healthy food and entrepreneurial resources for the Richland County community and beyond.
Idea+Works aims to be Mansfield’s leading hub of entrepreneurship and innovation so that residents can be successful in starting and growing businesses in the region. Please consider contributing to economic development in Richland County by donating to Idea+Works.
