Gorman Rupp

The Gorman-Rupp Company on Thursday reported financial results for the first quarter that ended March 31.

MANSFIELD -- The Gorman-Rupp Company announced Friday it had distributed profit sharing checks totaling more than $2.7 million to approximately 530 employees of its Mansfield and Gorman-Rupp Industries (Bellville) Divisions.

Jeffrey S. Gorman, president and CEO,  said that this was the 85th consecutive year that company employees have shared in the company’s profits, a program started by co-founders J.C. Gorman and H.E. Rupp.

In addition to the profit sharing distribution, the following employees were recognized for their years of service:

Mansfield Division

45 years of service -- Herb Bores

40 years of service -- Mark Hass, Bart Hawk, Steve Hissong, Dan Hosack, Dale Riggenbach and Ron Villers

25 years of service -- Ed Ballard, Dorothy Fry, Jeff Hannan, Angie Morehead, Mike Owens, Jim Smith, Lisa Wadman and Ken Westfield
