MANSFIELD -- The Gorman-Rupp Company has announced the promotion of two employees in a press release Friday.
The Mansfield company stated Scott King will be advancing to the newly created position of Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of The Gorman-Rupp Company. Meanwhile, Angie Morehead moves into the position of Treasurer and Assistant Secretary of the Gorman-Rupp Company.
In his new role, King will have responsibility for operational and financial oversight of all of Gorman-Rupp’s divisions and subsidiaries. He has been with the company for 15 years, most recently in the position of Vice President of Operations. He holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Minnesota.
Morehead has served as Assistant Treasurer since December, 2018. Prior to assuming the Assistant Treasurer role, she worked with the Mansfield Division for 24 years, most recently as Controller.
Morehead has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from The Ohio State University and a Master of Business Administration from Ashland University.
