Friday's ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the offical opening of Central Star Home Health Care in Ontario.

ONTARIO -- Central Star Home Health Care celebrated the official opening of its Ontario office with a n Oct. 11 ribbon-cutting ceremony officiated by the Ontario Chamber of Commerce.

Central Star is a part of the Star Multi Care family of companies and has been in business since 1938 but recently relocated their office from Mansfield. The company provides medical and non- medical in-home care to infants through adults and accepts most insurances including Medicare and Medicaid.

The branch office is currently hiring Companions, Home Health Aides, STNAs, and nurses.

In attendance at the event were numerous community members, Central Star staff, Jodie Perry, President/CEO of Chamber of Commerce along with staff member Ashley Meyer, Miss Ontario, Maria Caporini; Tim Ross, District Director Representing The Honorable Bob Gibbs; and Mayor

Randy Hutchinson who proclaimed the company as “The Star of Ontario.” A gift of special congressional recognition from Congressman Bob Gibbs and proclamations from Senator Larry Obhof, Representative Mark Romanchuk and Speaker Larry Householder were also presented to Deb Mosier, RN Administrator during the ceremony.
