MANSFIELD: Jennifer Lynn Garber, 39, of Mansfield passed away unexpectedly
Thursday morning February 11, 2021 in the emergency department at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital.
The daughter of Nelson and Dona (Debo) Garber, Jennifer was born August 17, 1981. She graduated from Mansfield Senior High School in 1999 and earned her Associates Degree in history from the Ohio State University. Jen had worked at STARTEK.
She was dynamic and one of a kind. Passionate, Jen loved and studied the sciences and history, especially Roman history. She would also curl up on a couch and get lost in a science fiction or cyber punk book. Or maybe relax and crocheti nstead. She was an avid gamer and appreciated classic movies. Jen was tender- hearted and had an affection for all animals. Her favorites by far were birds and cats.
More than anything, Jen will be remembered for her kindness and loving heart.
She is survived by her parents Nelson and Dona Garber of Mansfield; life companion, Shannon Crank of Mansfield; grandmother Judith Debo; uncles and aunts Ted Garber, Grant (Janet) Garber, Donald (Juanita) Debo, Duane (Michelle) Debo, Douglas (Becky) Debo, and Dustin (Angie) Debo; numerous cousins and extended family; step daughter Rayna Crank.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents and aunt Patti Garber.
Jen’s family will receive friends Tuesday, February 16, 2021 from 12 – 2 pm in the Marion Avenue Snyder Funeral Home where funeral services, celebrating her life, will begin at 2 pm. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Richland County Humane Society may be made through the funeral home.
