MANSFIELD — Laura Wilging, owner of Glam356, believes she has a “good grasp” on what fashion-forward women in Mansfield are seeking.

To that end, she is excited to continue offering specialty apparel, jewelry and cosmetics, now in a bigger location.

Glam356 has moved just a few storefronts up from its previous location in the plaza on Lexington Avenue. It’s now adjacent to What’s 4 Dessert.

Wilging said the boutique, which opened for business on Black Friday at midnight, is more than the double the size of what it had been.

“God has been so good and He has given me the opportunity to keep expanding as I can,” she said.

The retailer carries unique clothing and accessories, as well as a line of organic skincare and natural cosmetics. Wilging worked with chemists to come up the formulas for the different “Smart Bomb Cosmetics” products, which include anything from moisturizers to mascaras, eyeliners and more.

“Basically anything a girl could ever want,” Wilging said. “From a young age, this is what I’ve always loved to do — makeup and skincare. I had a very ‘unnatural’ infatuation with ingredients, what things do for the skin, and how things looked.”

Wilging said she wants everyone to be able to experience Smart Bomb Cosmetics, and because of that, she doesn’t charge to apply them, she said.

The Mansfield native and Mansfield Christian alum has over 25 years of experience in the beauty industry and once served as a travelling make-up artist.

She opened Glam356 in downtown Mansfield in the early 2000s and added a second location in Columbus over two years ago.

“I feel so thankful that Mansfield has supported me through all of these years,” she said. “I want to keep giving Mansfield that fashion and beauty that it craves.”

Glam356 is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. During the month of December, the store will be open on Sundays from noon to 4 p.m.
