Pamela S. Barnett, 62, of Mansfield, Ohio, died Monday evening, Nov. 30, 2015, at her home. She was born Sept. 25, 1953, in Mansfield, Ohio, to O.C. and Thelma (Peterson) Ousley.

Pamela had a wonderful spirit and was described by many as an angel. She was always putting others before herself and was most willing to help in any way possible. She loved the peaceful serenity of the ocean, whether she was on the beach or traveling on a cruise ship.

She is survived by her husband, Al Barnett, Jr., whom she married on Sept. 22, 2006; children, Tracy Bryant Ebert (Michael Humphrey), of Lexington, Mark Bryant, of Mansfield, Stephanie Barnett, of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Leona Barnett, Paul Barnett and Cameron Barnett, all of Mansfield, Christopher (Tonja) Barnett, of Butler, and Alfred Barnett III, of Mansfield; seven grandchildren, Nicole, Alexandria, Riddick, Christopher Jr., Amber, Alfred IV, and Elana; parents, O.C. and Thelma Ousley; three brothers, Michael (Diane) Ousley, Robert (Ellen) Ousley, and Scott Ousley, all of Mansfield; sister, Penny McDonald, of Ashland; sister-in-law, Kathleen J. (Gary) Ruley, of Mansfield; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Gary Bryant.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, 2015, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. The funeral service conducted by Pastor Mark Barth will be held in the funeral home Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Caesarea Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
