Roxie “Lois” Eaton, 82, of Ontario, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at her home. She was born July 30, 1936, in Harrogate, Tennessee, to the late Hubert Paskel and Bessie Pearl (Estep) Ramsey.
She was a legal secretary for several years and then later worked at Shaw-Ott Pharmacy. She was very active, an avid walker and especially enjoyed walks on the beach. Lois bowled in the Starlighter Bowling League for 42 years. She was a former member of Diamond Hills Baptist Church.
Roxie is survived by her husband of 63 years, Preston Eaton, whom she married on September 26, 1955; and a son and daughter-in-law, Geoffrey and Debby Eaton of Bellville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Harold Ramsey; and two sisters, Christine Pry and Helen Wise.
A graveside service will be held Monday, December 17, 2018, at 12:00 p.m. in Mansfield Memorial Park with Rev. Rick Utt officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity of your choice.
