The Richland County Sheriff's Office continues to maintain a Level 2 Snow Emergency for Sunday, Jan. 26. Roads are snow covered in most areas.

A Level 2 means roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Roads may also be very icy. Only those who feel it is necessary to drive should be out on the roads. Contact your employer to see if you should report to work. Motorists should use extreme caution.

The wind chill advisory is no longer in effect. Today the forcecast includes snow with areas of blowing snow between 3 p.m. and  5 p.m., and a chance of snow continuing after 5pm.
