SHELBY, Ohio – Pioneer Preschool hosted its annual community wide Kindergarten Fair on March 12. The goal for the kindergarten fair was to assist in making the transition from preschool to kindergarten as easy and smooth as possible for children and parents.

In order to make this possible and effective, Pioneer Preschool partnered with area school principals, kindergarten teachers, area preschools, the Shelby Health Department, The Ohio Coalition for Children with Disabilities, and The Marvin Memorial Library.

Director of the Pioneer Preschool Stephanie Roberts stated, “The feedback that we received from the parents was overwhelmingly in favor of the experience. The parents were also very happy to be able to gather information about upcoming shots, before and after school options, and other very important resources that were provided at all of the booths. Our hope is to be able to continue the working collaborative relationship with community partners and school personal to help provide parents and children with positive life experiences.”
